Nice! I don't know what the pedigree of the style is, but I really like these tunes that are full of clean triads without jazz sevenths sprinkled everywhere. They give the harmony a nice crystalline quality that's a good background for the madness to come. Did m. 3 change from E7 to G#dim7 (similar function of course) some time between writing and playing? I like it; the F natural gives a hint of the upcoming G-C.

GOOD EARS. however I think the bass motion is what I'm thinking about. And there's a faint chance F# could be in the mix instead of F natural. So the chart is "correct"
