TT 64: Rex Stout/Ennio Morricone
As the quarantine progresses, I’m trying to work on various things I’d never get around to doing otherwise. The first of this “got nothin’ but time” series is up, a long and detailed look at the mystery novels featuring Nero Wolfe and Archie Goodwin written by Rex Stout. I love these books, they are natural topic for a DTM overview, yet Wolfe and Archie are also so popular that I didn’t know if I could find anything new to say. Rather to my surprise, 14,000 words materialized with ease.

RIP Ennio Morricone. For my socials I did a quick version of the theme from The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly. A storm tore through Brooklyn yesterday, so I opened the windows and zoomed out hoping it would thunder while I was playing -- but I missed Mother Nature's fierce opening salvo, drat! Well, if you put on headphones you can hear the rain….
