Headed out tonight to Budapest

Thanks to all who came out to the Village Vanguard last week to hear this new trio with Thomas Morgan and Kush Abadey. We had a blast! (Special thanks to guest star Marcus Gilmore, who played Tuesday.)

A lot came into focus over the course of the sets. While we are playing several Iverson originals, we are also digging into standard repertoire from Horace Silver, Duke Ellington, David Raksin, Harold Arlen, and so forth.
