Apparently it’s going to snow in Brooklyn tonight, but Símon Willson, Vinnie Sperrazza, and I will still be at LunÀtico in Bed Stuy from about 9 pm on. No cover, donations requested.

Tonight’s trio is also the rhythm section for The Look of Love, the evening-length celebration of Burt Bacharach created by Mark Morris for his Dance Group and arranged by myself. The rest of the band includes Jonathan Finlayson, Blaire Perrin, and Clinton Curtis; Marcy Harriell is featured on lead vocals. Five performances in Boston this week!

Tomorrow, January 20, I play the opening set at Kazemde George’s jam session at Ruth on Flatbush. Ben Tiberio and Elé Salif Howell complete the band.

My wonderful booking agent Ralph Gluch is doing a terrific job, but there’s a hole in the schedule, March 24 and 25. I will have a solo program up: I could play a solo house concert or the trio could do a masterclass or some such if the location is not hard to get to.
